This month in the Corcoran's history is a special
web feature compiled from the weekly email newsletter sent to all
Corcoran staff, known affectionately as the TWITCH, or This Week
in the Corcoran's History.
The TWITCH contains historical tidbits and little known information
about the Corcoran, ranging from the daily details of running the
Corcoran that we now view with amusement, to larger events in the
Corcoran's history, often containing primary source accounts. For
example, William MacLeod, the Corcoran's first curator/director
is often quoted from his daily journal.

The TWITCH was created by former Archivist
Marisa Bourgoin, to whom the Corcoran staff is deeply appreciative.
